Using the patented Nanmac 2-dimensional thermocouple, either true part temperature or the specifically different cavity wall-surface temperature is measured.

All NANMAC C4 Series Ejector Pin Thermocouples come standard with a 24 inch, stainless steel clad extension "stem", with a transition adaptor and 3 feet of flexible shielded extension leads. All leads join the Thermocouple/ Ejector Pin at 90° angle to allow normal operation of most ejector pins. If specified, these leads can join the thermowell on the longitudinal axis. In addition, they can be of different lengths and have various length flexible leads attached.

ORDERING INFORMATION
When ordering Ejector Pin thermocouples, specify the appropriate dimensions (A, B, C, D) as shown on the above drawing, and the required thermocouple type T, J, E or K.

Example: if you require a thermocouple that has an overall length (A) of 9.5 in. with a shank length (B) of 8.75 in., a shank diameter (C) of 0.375 in., a collar diameter (D) of 1.5 in., and type K calibration, specify.. Part Number: C4-1-9.5-8.75-0.375-1.5-K

Since the cost of C4 Series Thermocouples depends largely on the particular dimensions required, it is not possible to establish a price list to cover every need. Therefore, please send your requirements as described above along with a drawing if possible of your ejector pin for a price and delivery proposal.In addition to plastics, these thermocouples can also be used in zinc die casting, aluminum casting and glass bottle manufacturing operations. Send us your dimensional requirements together with maximum service temperature and pressure requirements for a prompt price and delivery proposal.

SPECIAL NOTES:
There are two distinct temperatures that can be measured on the inside of your mold cavity:

  1. The inside surface temperature of the steel. In this instance specify "thermally grounded" when ordering.
  2. The "plastic" temperature inside the mold cavity. In this instance specify 'thermally Un- grounded" when ordering,

Both types of Thermocouples should be aligned flush with the inside surface of the mold cavity.
