NANMAC'S Line of
Mullite protection lubes include a wide range of diameters, lengths
and mounting fittings to meet most needs. These protection tubes are
available with a plain open end, ceramic collar or a choice of several
metal fittings with various thread sizes. The composition of Mullite
consists mainly of 70% AL203 and 28% SiO2;. These tubes are cast with
one end closed and they are gas tight. The maximum service temperature
is 3180 degrees Fahrenheit (1750 deg C). Ceramic cement is used to bond the collars
and metal fitting to the protection tubes.

STYLE-A
Plain Tube with one end closed.

Plain Tube with ceramic collar bonded to open end. Outside diameter
of collar is 1/2" larger than tube diameter.

Two inch long brass fitting with 7/8" x 27 NS threads bonded
lo lube. Available only with 11/16" diameter tubes. |

STYLE-D
1/2" x 1/2" NPT tilting bonded to tube. Available only
for tubes from 1/4" O.D, through 1/2" O.D.

STYLE-E
1/2" x 3/4" NPT fitting bonded to tube. Available only
for tubes from 3/8" O.D. through 3/4" O.D, |
