NANMAC stocks a broad line of insulators for use with all types and sizes of Thermocouple wire. Porcelain or mullite insulators are recommended for use with base metal thermocouple wire and elements, types T,J,E and K up to 2000°F.

High purity alumina oxide is recommended for use with noble or refractory thermocouple wire and elements, types S,R,B,G,D and C.

Re-crystallized alumina is suitable for up to 3600°F. Mullite is suitable to 2700°F.
