Director of Sales – North America
Reporting to the General Manager, the Director will be responsible for increasing sales in North America. This will include developing sales plans and budgets, managing and mentoring our factory Regional Managers, developing/maintaining our established network of Regional Technical Sales Representatives and in the absence of a Regional Sales Manager, develop relationships with new and existing House and OEM accounts.

This position will require you to sell, this is not a strict management role as you will be riding with our Reps and Regionals Sales people. They will turn to you if they can't get it to close.

Minimum 5-7 years of your own sales experience, with an additional 5 years of sales management, which must include Sales Reps. Experience in the industrial sensor market, with strong technical/engineering background.

Must be able to quickly learn intermediate level thermocouple and RTD temperature sensor application, and be able to stand in front of a group of technical people and train them on it, or present the company's technical ability.

No sponsorship must be a US citizen or authorized to work in the US. About 30-50 percent travel, you do not need to be located in the North East but must be then near a high volume airport hub.

Assembly Technician – Multiple Openings – Full or Part Time

Attention to detail and good math skills required. You must have ability to use mechanical measuring devices such as calipers, rulers, micrometers, as well as hand tools, power tools, small welders and torches.

Experience a plus, will train the right candidates.

Manufacturing Supervisor

Reporting directly to the General Manager, the Manufacturing Supervisor will be the daily driver in getting the product built.

You will perform Job Write-up, write work instruction, manage the production schedule and initiate increases in efficiency and quality.

This is a hands-on position where you will train and assist assembly technicians in their daily tasks, supervise the shop floor, set-up simple machines, schedule and/or perform machine maintenance and meet weekly with the operations team to review schedules, quality and staffing.

Requirements and skills

  • 2 year degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent degree, or intense mid-tech manufacturing experience.
  • 5-7 years experience in supervising and scheduling work within a job-shop manufacturing environment. Preferably involving small to medium volume runs.
  • Familiar with design of tooling, mechanical operations, and brazing, welding, hand-tools and small machine operation.
  • Intimate understanding and practical use of work instructions and BOMs
  • Ability to work with sales engineering determining labor time, estimating materials yield and job costing to help establish selling price.
  • Understanding of the Change Control process in the engineering, production and use cycle.
  • Very familiar with the use of PCs and typical software, CAD a definite plus
