Inside Sales / Customer Service

Terrific sales growth, and our desire to continuously increase our customer service create this additional position within the organization.

Energy, enthusiasm and a great attitude along with some technical background and aptitude are key requirements for this inside sales position. This is not a high volume call center; you will build relationships with existing customers and introduce new customers to our company's capabilities and product line.

Key Areas of Responsibility:

  • Answer telephone, email and fax requests for information on our product line.
  • Calculate pricing and create proposals, process orders, provide shipping confirmations, return authorizations and much more.
  • Interface with our technical sales and engineering team to help define the customer's requirements and to provide feedback on open proposals.
  • Identify opportunities to cross-sell or up-sell products and services while working with the existing customer.
  • Follow-up on the proposals you have created.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 2 years in Customer Service / Inside Sales position.
  • Great communication skills.
  • Strong technical experience within any of the following areas: Wire, tubing, hardware, plant maintenance or industrial manufacturing environments.
  • Strong experience with computer (PC) based applications such as Great Plains, ACT!, Microsoft Office, email and/or other order entry programs.
  • Ability to work independently or as part of a team.
  • Thoroughness and attention to detail.

To qualify for this position, you must have experience in technical sales or support. An associate's degree is desirable, though we will consider a strong background in inside sales with a technical product line.

Working from your home office, positions are located in Atlanta, GA, Cleveland, OH, Pittsburgh, PA, and Dallas, TX. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with the right set of qualifications to join a leading developer, manufacturer, and supplier of high performance temperature measurement devices. Selling directly to high volume end users and OEMs, you will have tremendous technical, sales and marketing support from the factory; NANMAC fully understands that sales effort drives the growth and success of the organization, this position reports to the President.

Requirements:

  • Bachelors Degree (Engineering Preferred) Minimum of 5 years of documented success selling Industrial Equipment, physical test and measurement equipment or high temperature alloys or refractory materials (must be selling 2-3 Million dollars worth)
  • Must have established contacts within the materials research or processing industry, in particular; heat treating, vacuum furnaces, tooling and refractory materials, aerospace and materials research.
  • Must be able to prospect and close business, and have excellent time and territory management skills
  • Also, candidate must have demonstrated ability to achieve sales objectives by developing and maintaining an assigned territory

Manufacturing Technicians (full/part time) - Framingham, MA

This position requires a self-motivated individual who enjoys working in a job-shop environment. It requires strict adherence to established manufacturing practices and procedures, yet rewards innovation and improvement to current practices, this position reports to the Manufacturing Manager.

Key Areas of Responsibility:

  • Use various types of tools & equipment to assemble, braze, clean and polish small parts and assemblies.
  • Conduct in-process inspection of assembled parts using test equipment
  • Generate required shop documentation

Requirements:

  • Familiar with small hand and small power tools
  • Thoroughness and attention to detail are absolutely required
  • Ability to work independently or as part of a team
  • Knowledge of small torch brazing and TIG welding practices

To qualify you must have prior experience with assembling close tolerance parts and assemblies in a small to medium volume environment.  An Associates Degree is desirable, but a high school diploma or equivalent is required as well as a minimum of 2-5 years of experience in the manufacturing industry. We offer on-the-job training and expect it will take some time to become versed in our manufacturing practices.

NANMAC is looking for a qualified candidate to fill the position of Marketing Assistant. This fun and exciting position requires a person with creativity and ambition. If you are an organized, detail-oriented self-starter with strong follow-up skills, excellent oral & written communication skills, and the ability to work simultaneously on multiple projects, this is a position for you.

Reporting to the Director of Marketing, you will provide marketing and clerical support, assist with all company sales and marketing efforts including advertising, website development, packaging, printing, promotion, sales, lead generation, reporting, database management, catalog and brochure mailing etc. The qualified individual is self-motivated and able to carry out projects and tasks with and without direct supervision.

Key Areas of Responsibility:

  • Maintain and coordinate marketing and advertising efforts
  • Interface with print and electronic advertising media
  • Prepare promotional materials for distribution.
  • Database maintenence
  • Assist in writing copy for brochures and other marketing literature
  • Make calls to customers for sales and marketing purposes
  • Assist in market research and development of marketing plan
Requirements:
  • Very strong PC skills, especially Microsoft Windows and Office software.
  • Knowledegable and comfortable working on the internet.
  • Attention to detail.
  • Good telephone skills.
  • Knowledge of the printing industry is beneficial
  • The ability to prioritize activities and multi-task is essential

Prefer Bachelor's degree in marketing, business, public relations or communications, however we will consider non-degreed candidates with exceptional experience.
